The ALL Experience

Program Design

ALL curriculum is organized into distinct learning segments that build on each other, beginning with introspection and working toward influence and impact. Along the way, participants are provided with encouragement to experiment, time to think and explore, and a community to help them along the way. ALL experiences are designed for high performing individuals and follow a proven methodology that helps them integrate—not simply consume—insights, frameworks, and mindsets. There is no single formula or vision for great leadership. ALL is about people finding their own way.

Learning Communities

True leadership transformation happens through connection, which is why the Advancement Leadership Lab is a cohort-based experience. Each cohort consists of 30 participants from similar universities grouped into six smaller “lab benches” that focus on learning, challenging, and growing alongside each other. Cohorts meet in person three times per year at participating universities for multiple days each time, plus online meetings at least once per month and independently with other cohort members at their discretion.

Time Well Spent

Talented leaders in the higher education advancement industry are usually in high demand and quite busy. ALL was constructed with this operating reality in mind. While ALL is an additional demand, most alumni report that their time in the program became a welcome opportunity to focus on their own leadership growth without the many distractions in their daily lives, leading to an overall sense of improved well-being. This is the opportunity we strive to create.
